As I have said long ago, we will see the bird flu here in the UK just as they have in the US. It's not here, they just want you to think it is, and when they think the time is right, they will go around testing and telling everyone who has birds that they have bird flu and cull them all. Millions of chickens ( meat food source ) will be culled. Don't tell the government you have birds of any kind especially chickens, turkeys, ducks or geese.
Don't forget that foot and mouth and swine flu are in the future too. Even though the foot and mouth were completely eradicated years ago.

Orders to keep all captive birds and poultry indoors are being extended across the whole of England from next week.
The mandatory housing measures have been stepped up by the UK's chief veterinary officer, making it a legal requirement to keep the animals inside and to follow stringent biosecurity measures to help protect flocks from disease.
The new rules come into force at one minute past midnight on Monday, 7 November - giving owners one week to prepare.
It comes after the national risk of bird flu in wild birds was raised to 'very high', and the whole of Great Britain was made a bird flu prevention zone two weeks ago.
Chief veterinary officer Christine Middlemiss said: "We are now facing this year the largest ever outbreak of bird flu and are seeing rapid escalation in the number of cases on commercial farms and in backyard birds across England.
"The risk of kept birds being exposed to disease has reached a point where it is now necessary for all birds to be housed until further notice.
"Scrupulous biosecurity and separating flocks in all ways from wild birds remain the best form of defence."
She said the measures apply to all bird owners, whether they keep a few birds, or thousands.
"This decision has not been taken lightly, but is the best way to protect your birds from this highly infectious disease," she added.
According to the Department for the Environment and Rural Affairs, evidence shows that housing birds reduces the risk of them being infected.
Low risk to consumers
However, housing alone will not protect birds and all keepers must still follow the other enhanced biosecurity measures which were brought in earlier this month to help prevent the disease spreading to wild birds.
The added measures mean all bird keepers need to take extra precautions, such as restricting access for non-essential people on site, ensuring workers change clothing and footwear before entering bird enclosures and cleaning and disinfecting vehicles regularly.
The UK Health Security Agency continues to advise that the risk to public health from the virus is very low and the Food Standards Agency advice remains unchanged, that avian influenzas pose a very low food safety risk for UK consumers.
Properly cooked poultry and poultry products, including eggs, are safe to eat.
Earlier in October, the National Farmers' Union warned that there could be "holy carnage" this Christmas if the disease gets into turkeys.
Tanzanian authorities on Thursday began rationing water in the commercial capital Dar es Salaam following a drought-induced drop in water levels from its main source, the Ruvu river.
The 5.5 million inhabitants of the Indian Ocean city will go without piped water for 24 hours on alternating days, the Dar es Salaam Water and Sanitation Authority (DAWASA) said.
"The timetable will be updated every week according to how the change of weather increases or decreases the water levels," it said.
With only ~20 days of US supply remaining, Diesel, along with heating oil, aviation fuel and kerosene, headed towards record prices.

US diesel shortages are spreading along the East Coast amid a ban on imports from Russia, raising fears of further surges in prices for the fuel as consumers brace for the winter heating season.
Mansfield Energy, one of the nation’s major fuel distributors, instituted emergency measures on Tuesday and warned its customers that carriers were being forced to visit multiple terminals in some cases to find supplies, delaying deliveries.
“In many areas, actual fuel prices are currently 30-80 cents higher than the posted market average because supply is tight,” said Mansfield.
With shortages spreading from the Northeast to the Southeast, the company advised customers to give 72-hour notice for their orders to avoid having to pay above-market prices:

Wisconsin Rep. Bryan Steil says that the economy could take a dual hit after the election if diesel shortages persist and rail unions strike as promised.

Steil said the impact of the railroad strike could be exacerbated by ongoing shortages of diesel fuel, which power everything from tractor trailers to harvesting tractors.
"The shortages that we're seeing around the country is concerning," Steil continued. "But it's all the more concerning that we have policies coming from Biden and from Pelosi that are putting us in this position in the first place."
