China sanctions Pelosi over Taiwan visit: foreign ministry

This has to be a first. The next in line for President has a visa restriction. But to me, it looks like America is missing being at war with someone. They make billions by being at war and they don't care about the casualties. But we're talking millions of people here and Taiwan wants their help.

This will end in tears and I think America is underestimating China. The only thing going good for the U.S is they've had plenty of training. China will put trade restrictions on the U.S and that will cause even more problems for Americans. It's as though Biden's administration wants to choke every supply from within and outside the U.S.

China’s foreign ministry announced sanctions against US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Friday, after her visit to Taiwan this week prompted fury and shows of military force from Beijing.

The ministry said Pelosi was “seriously interfering in China’s internal affairs and seriously undermining China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity” with the visit, and that Beijing would “impose sanctions on Pelosi and her immediate family”, without giving further details.

China has announced sanctions on a number of US officials in recent years for acting against what it views as its core interests and speaking out on human rights issues in Hong Kong and the northwestern region of Xinjiang, often without specifying punitive measures.

In March this year Beijing said it was imposing visa restrictions on an undisclosed list of United States officials who had allegedly “concocted lies on human rights issues involving China”.

Former US secretary of state Mike Pompeo, as well as Peter Navarro — a trade adviser to former president Donald Trump — were among those hit by earlier waves of sanctions and are forbidden from entering China as well as doing business with Chinese entities.

Beijing’s ruling Communist Party views self-ruled, democratic Taiwan as part of its territory and has vowed to one day take it, by force if necessary.

The Chinese government has reacted with bombastic threats and military drills in the lead-up to and aftermath of Pelosi’s visit, which it sees as an unacceptable escalation of ties between Washington and Taiwan’s current pro-independence leaders.

The White House said Thursday that a group of US naval vessels led by the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier would remain in the Taiwanregion after China launched ballistic missiles in the area.

White House spokesman John Kirby said the Pentagon had ordered the Reagan carrier group to “remain on station in the general area to monitor the situation.”

“We will not be deterred from operating in the seas and the skies of the Western Pacific consistent with international law, as we have for decades, supporting Taiwan and defending a free and open Indo-Pacific,” Kirby said.

White House urges Russia to accept ‘substantial offer’ on freeing Brittney Griner

The White House urged Moscow Thursday toaccept its offer of a deal for the release of basketball star Brittney Griner and another American citizen, after Griner was sentenced to nine years in a Russian prison on drug charges.

“We have made a substantial offer to bring her and Paul Whelan home. We urge Russia to accept that proposal,” said White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre.

US declares monkeypox a public health emergency

If you are a regular reader of my Substack, you would have been expecting this a few months ago. This and “Marberg” were the two prime candidates back in November. I never thought they would be so obvious and choose monkeypox but, they know that they can fool most people easily. They have been slowly putting it into people's heads and have even bought the vaccines ( not vaccines ) ready for the pandemic that they knew was coming.

The United States on Thursday declared monkeypox a public health emergency, a move that should free up  new funds, assist in data gathering and allow the deployment of additional personnel in the fight against the disease.

“We’re prepared to take our response to the next level in addressing this virus, and we urge every American to take monkeypox seriously and to take responsibility to help us tackle this virus,” Health and Human Services secretary Xavier Becerra said in a call.

The declaration, which is initially effective for 90 days but can be renewed, came as nationwide cases topped 6,600 on Thursday, around a quarter of them from New York state.

Experts believe the real number could be much higher in the current outbreak since the symptoms can be subtle, including single lesions.

The US has so far delivered some 600,000 JYNNEOS vaccines — originally developed against monkeypox’s related virus, smallpox — but this number figure is still far short of the approximately 1.6 million people considered at highest risk and who need the vaccine most.

Some 99 percent of US cases have so far been among men who have sex with men, the Health and Human Services department said last week, and this is the population authorities are targeting in the national vaccination strategy.

In contrast to previous outbreaks in Africa, the virus is now predominantly spread through sexual activity — but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says other routes are also possible, including sharing bedding, clothing, and prolonged face-to-face contact.

The US declaration comes after the World Health Organization also designated the outbreak an emergency last month — something it reserves for diseases of highest concern.

Also Thursday, US Food and DrugAdministration commissioner Robert Califf said his agency was mulling a move that would allow clinicians to administer five doses of vaccine based on one dose of existing vials.

The vaccine is currently administered subcutaneously, but the new approach would involve administering it intradermally, at a more shallow angle.

This “means basically sticking the needle within the skin and creating a little pocket there into which the vaccine goes, so this is really nothing highly unusual,” said Califf.

It's amazing how they have the vaccines ready. And they are not short because they had millions on standby many months ago.

Unvaccinated Djokovic officially out of Montreal ATP event

Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic, whose refusal to be vaccinated against Covid makeshim unable to enter Canada, has officially withdrawn from the ATP hardcourt tournament in Montreal, organizers said Thursday.

The Serb star’s unvaccinated status made it unlikely he would play in the prestigious ATP Masters tournament, just as it means he will probably miss the US Open starting later in August as the United States also requires visitors to the country to show proof of vaccination.

Montreal Masters tournament director Eugene Lepierre had said earlier this month he did not expect Djokovic to play.

“Either the Canadian government is going to change the rules regarding vaccination or he is going to roll up his sleeves and get the vaccine. But I don’t think any of those scenarios are realistic,” Lepierre said.

Germany’s Oscar Otte has also withdrawn from the tournament which starts Monday with Benjamin Bonzi of France and Australia’s Wimbledon runner-up Nick Kyrgios moving into the main draw, Tennis Canada said.

In addition, three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray was handed a wild card on Thursday, along with Belgian David Goffin and Canadians Vasek Pospisil and Alexis Galarneau.

Britain’s Murray, a former world number one who won the Canadian title in 2009, 2010 and 2015, has been rising in the rankings this season from 134th to 50th.

He reached finals in Sydney in January and Stuttgart in June, but fell in the first round in Washington earlier this week to Sweden’s Mikael Ymer.

Despite that disappointment, Murray said on Monday he believes he can get his rankinghigh enough to earn a seeding at the US Open, which he won a decade ago.

“It’s still possible,” Murray said. “I would just need to have a good run in Canada or Cincinnati really. It’s pretty straightforward if I was to make a quarter-final or a semi-final, which right now — after a loss like that — doesn’t seem realistic.

“I do feel like if I play very well that I could do that. But I’ll need to certainly play better than I did today.”

Will people fall for the monkeypox jab?

Anyone who now agrees to have a covid-19 jab is insane and should be put into a straightjacket. Anyone who gives a covid-19 jab is a criminal who should be locked up for attempted murder. I’m afraid it seems as though the first round of covid jabs simply made millions even more stupid than they were when they started out.

Sadly, many of those who were jabbed last year are only now finding out the truth about the covid jab.

And tragic stories abound.

Today, I heard two awful stories which help bring the covid fraud to life.

The first was related to me by the man who delivered our groceries. He’d just been to take groceries to an 80-year-old man who was pouring blood from his nose. The bleeding was unstoppable. His eyes were badly bloodshot too. He and a neighbour rang for an emergency ambulance. They were told that they would have to wait two and a half hours for an ambulance. The neighbour took the gentleman to the hospital in her car.

The second was an elderly woman who works in a small shop which we use. She had apparently gone completely blind – quite suddenly. The local hospital is shut and she had no one to take her to the nearest hospital that is open. There is, of course, pretty well no ambulance service so she caught a bus for a three and a half hour ride. Lost in her new blindness she tripped and fell over when she got off the bus. No one stopped to help her up. When she finally got to her feet she ended up going the wrong way. You can probably imagine how long she had to wait to be seen when she finally reached the hospital. She was told that she’d had an unexplained bleed in her eye. She then had to make the bus journey in reverse.

The one common factor: the damned covid-19 jab. Both individuals had been recently vaccinated.

These are the realities of the covid-19 fraud: real people whose lives have been devastated by a jab they never needed and which they should never have been given. Governments and the media are constantly thinking up new reasons for the number of people dying of myocarditis and blood clots. It’s all down to covid, long covid, the weather, the number of people not paying their TV licence or the high consumption of ice cream.

How many million people are now ill or dying or dead because criminals masquerading as doctors have given these evil, toxic drugs to innocent trusting people? Now we are entering the monkeypox era. Planned and slowly being played out in front of the camera for people to be kept in fear. Constant fear is the only way for tyrants to control people. I hope after the slaughter of millions from the covid jabs that people realise that the monkeypox jab is not what they say it is.

When, oh when, are people going to rise up and scream STOP?

Taiwan defence ministry says 68 Chinese planes, 13 warships crossed median line Friday.

Taipei’s military said 68 Chinese fighter jetsand 13 warships crossed the “median line” that runs down the Taiwan Strait during Friday’s military drills by Beijing’s forces.

“(We) condemn the communist military for deliberately crossing the median line of the strait and harassing the sea and air around Taiwan,” the defence ministry said in its latest statement.

Taipei’s military said Chinese fighter jets and ships crossed the median line that runs down the Taiwan Strait on Friday, calling Beijing’s latest military drills “highly provocative”.

“As of 11am, multiple batches of Chinese warplanes and warships conducted exercises around the Taiwan Strait and crossed the median line of the strait,” the defence ministry said in a statement.

“This Chinese military exercise, whether it be the launch of ballistic missiles or the deliberate crossing of the median line of the strait, is a highly provocative act.”

The median line is an unofficial but once largely adhered-to border that runs down the middle of the Taiwan Strait, which separates Taiwan and China.

China has been holding huge drills encirclingTaiwan since Thursday to protest this week’s visit to the island by US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

It was previously rare for military jets and ships to cross the median line, although Chinese incursions have become more common after Beijing declared in 2020 that the unofficial border no longer existed.

Crossings of the line are sensitive because the Taiwan Strait is narrow, just 130 kilometres (81 miles) at its thinnest point, and incursions raise the risk of military accidents.

In recent years Beijing has ramped up incursions against Taipei.

The vast majority are military aircraft flightsinto the southwestern corner of Taiwan’s air defence identification zone (ADIZ).

The ADIZ is not the same as Taiwan’s territorial airspace, including a far greater area that overlaps with part of China’s own air defence identification zone and even some of the mainland.

But this week’s military drills by China have seen a spike in median-line incursions.

Of the 49 incursions Taiwan reported onWednesday and Thursday, 44 involved Chinese aircraft crossing the median line.
